What Was The Covenant Between God and Noah?

We thank God once again for giving us this day.

Brethren, there are so many covenants in the Old Testament but I would like to share the covenant between God and Noah with you.

At the beginning of the world, Lamech the son of Methuselah gave birth to Noah.

Noah gave birth to three sons, they are Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Noah was a very kind person.

After the sins committed by Kain, people saw that the daughters of men were fair,
they took to wives such of them as they chose.

The Lord said, my spirit shall not abide in man forever.

The sons of God came into the daughters of men and they bore children to them.

The Lord was sorry that he had made man on the earth because the wickedness of man was great on the earth and that every imagination or thought of his heart was only evil continually.

The Lord said I will blot out the man who I have created from the face of the ground, but Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation.

God saw the earth and behold it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.

God said to Noah, I have determined to make an end of all flesh.

Because of what God saw, he decided to destroy all flesh with a flood.

Lord save Noah when the earth was full of water.

After the flood, God bless Noah and his son and said to them, be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.
He promises Noah that, the flesh of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth.

Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you and as I gave you the green plant, I give you everything.

Then God said to Noah and his sons with him, behold,
I established my covenant with you and your descendants after you,
and every living creature as many as came out of the ark.

God said to Noah, I established my covenant with you,
that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.

God said to Abraham, this is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you,
I set my bow in the cloud and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds,
I will look upon it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature.
