What Happened, When Sarah Take Her Maid To Abraham As A wife?

Sarah has an Egyptian maid whose name was Hagar.

Sarah was the wife of Abraham but she has borne him no children.

One day Sarah told Abraham, the lord has prevented me from bearing children so go to my maid maybe I shall obtain children by her.

Abraham hearkened to the voice of Sarah.

Abraham went in with Hagar and she conceived.

When she saw that she had conceived, she looked with contempt at her mistress.

Sarah got angry and said to Abraham, may the wrong done to me be on you.

I gave my maid to your embrace, and when she saw that she has conceived, she look at me with contempt.

Abraham saw what his maid was doing and said to Sarah, your maid is in your power, do to her as you please.

Sarah dealt harshly with her and she fled from her.

Hagar went into the wilderness.

On his way, the angel of the lord found her by a spring of water.

The angel said to her, maid of Sarah where have you come from and where are you going?

She said I am fleeing from my mistress.

The angel said to her, returned to your mistress and submit to her.

He said to her, I will multiply your descendants that they cannot be numbered.

The angel said to her, you are with a child and you shall call his name Ishmael because the lord has given heed
to your affliction.

He shall be a wild ass of man and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen.
