In Christianity, Jesus is the son of God. He was the one whom Almighty God sent to release us from the bound chains. Many people used to call him, Jesus of Nazareth, and several other names and titles. He is the central figure of Christianity, the world's largest religion. The earliest Christians maintained that Jesus was a human being who was made God. But they ended up saying that Jesus was born to the union of God and a mortal because the holy spirit came upon Mary and that's how she conceived Jesus, so Jesus had God as his father.

As Christians, what do we have to know about Christ?
Many of us know a lot about him, but this article is full of things to know about our savior. I hope that everyone will read to the end for more understanding. There are so many things to know about Christ. They include;

Jesus Christ is holy:

One of the things to know about Christ is holiness. Holiness means living a life free from sins.
The word for holy in Hebrews is "qadash”, which means to be sanctified, consecrated, and dedicated or to be separated from the world and worldliness. As followers of Christ, it is our responsibility to be holy as our Saviour is holy.
Holiness fosters intimacy with God and builds spiritual strength and stability. Walking in him assures us of his presence and power in our lives. If we are not holy we cannot work with God.

He cared for the poor and he healed the sick:

Our savior was the one who cared for the poor no matter the situation. Caring for the poor is one of the major responsibilities of Christians. The scripture reminds us," When Jesus entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance. And lifted their voices and said, Jesus, master, have mercy on us. When he saw them he said to them, God, and show yourselves to the priests. And as they went they were cleansed”.

Jesus never turned away little children:

The scripture reminds us, "Children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people. But Jesus said, let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven. He laid his hand on them and went away”. As followers of Christ, we have to be close to the young ones to build them in Christ, because the starting of everything depends on the foundation.
