Jesus Christ is the savior of the world. The one whom Almighty God sent to die for our souls. As believers, it is good to know Jesus Christ but that qualifies as to be righteous or Christian. The people whom Jesus selected were not called Christians but due to the reaction of Saul and Barnabas, they were given the name "Christian ” in Antioch.

The Book of Matthew reminds us, that " not everyone who says to me, lord, lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, lord, lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?
And then will I declare to them, I never knew you, depart from me, you evildoers ”. This Scripture made it clear to us that, knowing Christ is not enough but doing the will of God matters.

If that is, what should we do as believers?
Should we go according to the says of others or what is written in the Bible? But the scripture says, Whoever does not bear his cross and come after me, cannot be my disciple”. Due to that, we are going to share what is important in our lives as believers or Christians in this article. As believers;

We are called to love God and others:

One of the best ways for someone to qualify to be called a Christian is by loving God and others. As it was said by Jesus, "We shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this, You will love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. Loving God and mankind allowed us to experience a profound intimacy with him. God redeemed us from a life of sin, forgave all our sins, removed our sins from us as far as the East is from the West, and also did not give us the punishment er deserve for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God, If we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is perfected in us.

To share the gospel and make disciples:

This is one of the best ways to live our life as believers. Sharing the gospel within our zones and with others is one of the life to live as Christians. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus tells his followers that " all authorities in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit”. By sharing the Gospel, we are helping others find hope, peace, and purpose in their lives. Sharing our faith reminds us of God's truth applied to real people.

To live a life of holiness and purity:

As believers, one of the ways that gets us closer to God is holiness and purity. As the imitators of Christ, we have to live a holy life as our mentor is also holy. God calls us to holiness so we can be set free from the bondage and consequences of our sins.

To serve others:

Serving others is one of our responsibility as believers in Christ. Serving is a form of worship, a way to express gratitude for what Jesus has done for us. Putting other people's needs before yours also strengthens your relationship with our maker. Serving others also enriches other people's lives.

To be good stewards of all that God has given us:

Being a good steward is one of the best ways to live as believers in Christ. Being a good steward is about sharing our time, talent, and treasure with God and others. Being a good steward is about sharing our time, talent, and treasure with God and others. When God sees that we have prioritized the stewardship of his kingdom, we will experience a greater level of Connection to God and response from God regarding our request.
