Jesus Christ is the son of the Almighty God. Everything was made through Him. He forbade His powers and ruled under the commandment of the elders. He was very obedient and respectful. As Jesus was on His way to doing the work of His Father, He performed many miracles some were not even written in the scripture. In this article, we are going to share the different kinds of miracles that are performed by Jesus in His ministry.
Jesus our savior changed the lives of everyone around him and everywhere He went. Many of the miracles have been documented in the books of Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John. These miracles are;
Jesus turns water into wine at a wedding:
In John 2:1-11, the scriptures remind us that" on the third day there was a marriage at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the marriage, with his disciples. When the wine gave out, the mother of Jesus said to him, They have no wine. Jesus said to her, O woman what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come. His mother said to the servants, Do whatever he tells you. Now six stone jars were standing there, for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to them, fill the jars with water. And they filled them up to the brim. He said to them, now draw some out, and take it to the steward of the feast. So they took it. When the steward of the feast tasted the water now became wine and did not know where it came from. The steward of the feast called the bridegroom and said to him, Every man serves the good wine first, and when men have drunk freely, then the poor wine, but you have kept the good wine until now. This was the first sign Jesus did at Cana in Galilee”.
Jesus heals a nobleman's son:
In the book of John 4:43-54, the scripture reminds us that, " after the two days he departed to Galilee. Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country. So when he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, having seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the feast, for they too had gone to the feast. So he came again to can't in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And at Capernaum, there was an official whose son was ill. When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went and begged him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Jesus therefore said to him, Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe. The official said to him, sir, come down before my child dies. Jesus said to him, go, your son will live. The man believes the word that Jesus spoke to him and went his way. As he was going down, his servant met him and told him that his son was living. So he asked them the hour when he began to mend, and they said to him, yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. The Fathers knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, Your son will live, and he believed, and all his household”. This was the second sign that Jesus did.
Jesus drives out an evil spirit from a man:
In the book of Mark 1:21-27, the scripture reminds us that, " They went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath he entered the synagogue and taught. They were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes. And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out, What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth?
Have you come to destroy us?
I know who you are, the holy one of God. But Jesus rebuked him, saying, be silent, and come out of him! The unclean Spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him”. This was the third miracle performed by Jesus.
Jesus heals peters mother law sick with a fever:
In the book of Mark 1:29-14, the scripture reminds us that, " Immediately he left the synagogue, and entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. Now Simon's mother-in-law lay sick with a fever, and immediately they told him of her. He came and took her by the hand and lifted her, and the fever left her”. This was the fourth miracle performed by Jesus.
Jesus healed many sick and oppressed in the evening:
In the book of Mark 1:32-34, the scripture reminds us that, " That evening, at shut down, they brought to him all who were sick or possessed with demons. The whole city was gathered about the door. He healed many who were sick with various diseases and cast out many demons, and he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him”.
The first miraculous catch of fish:
In the book of Luke 5:1-11, the scripture reminds us that, " while the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennesareth. And he saw two boats by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets. Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon, he asked him to put out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the people from the boat. And when he had ceased speaking, he said to Simon, put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch. Simon answered, master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word, I will let down the nets. When they had done this, they enclosed a great shoal of fish, and as their nets were breaking, they beckoned partners in the other boat to come and help them. They came and filled both the boats. So that they began to sink”.
Jesus cleanses a man with leprosy:
In the book of Mark 1:40-45, the scriptures remind us that, " A leper came to him beseeching him, and kneeling said to him, if you will, you can make me clean. Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him, and said to him, I will, be clean. And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean”.
