How Did Joseph React, When Potiphar Wife's Cast Her Eyes Upon Him?

The Scripture has helped many believers to know more about the word.

As we know, the Bible has divided into the old testament and new testament and I would like to

discuss how Joseph reacts to Potiphar's wife when she cast her eyes on him.

Joseph was one of the twelve sons of Jacob.

Joseph was sold to Ishmaelites and Potiphar, an officer of the most Pharoah, the captain of the guard,

an Egyptian bought him from the Ishmaelites who had brought him down there.

The Lord was with Joseph,

he became a successful man.

Potiphar saw that the lord was with him and

that the Lord caused all that he did to prosper in his hands.

Joseph found favor in his master's sight and attended him,

and he made him the overseer of his house and put him in charge of all that he had.

From the time his master made Joseph an overseer of his house and what he possessed,

the lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake.

The blessing was upon all that he had.

Potiphar left all that he had in the hands of Joseph.

Joseph was handsome.

After some months, his master wife's cast her eyes on Joseph.

Potiphar's wife decided to lie with Joseph but he refuse.

The book of Genesis 39:7 says, Joseph refused and said to his master's wife,

having me my master has no concern about anything in the house,

And he has put everything that he has in my hand;

He is not greater in this house than I am; nor has he

kept back anything
from me except yourself, because you are his wife,

How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?

Potiphar's wife spoke to Joseph day after day,

but he would not listen to her, to lie with her.

One day, Joseph went to the house to do his work and

none of the men of the house was there in house.

Potiphar's wife caught him by his garment and said to him, lie with me.

Joseph left his garment in her hand and fled and got out of the house.

Potiphar's wife saw that he had left his garment in her hand,

and had fled out of the house,

She called to the men of her household and said to them, see,

he has brought among us a Hebrew to insult us,

He came into me to lie with me, and l cried out with a loud voice,

and when he heard that I lifted my voice and cried,

he left his garment with me and fled out of the house.

She laid up his garment by her until his master came home,

and she told him the same story.

Joseph was sent to prison because of what happened.

Brethren, please what have we learned from this story?

Please anyone with an idea should drop it under the comments section.
