God's word is eternal truth. It never changes and it is always relevant. As it is written," In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God”. And also " for the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two edge sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thought and intentions of the heart”. The word of God has several benefits on mankind's lives and we shall discuss some of them in this article;

The word of God leads to joy:

Real joy comes from God, who has invaded us, conquered us, and liberated us from eternal death and sadness, and has given us hope and joy because he has poured out his love within our hearts through the holy spirit whom he has given us. As we make our way through life, the assurance of God's word and his faithfulness to it fills us with joy. The Lord speaks his living words to us not only to give us spirit and life but also that our joy may be made full and his joy would be our joy.

It can keep us from sinning:

The word keeps us from sin as it transforms our thoughts by renewing our minds. It is a sure foundation that we can build our lives upon. When we neglect the word of God, we are neglecting the very thing that has the power to change our lives. The word of God has the power to convict us of sin, to teach us truth, and to lead us in righteousness.

It offers free counseling:

When we are counseling from the word of God, then we are helping others be equipped for every good work. The word was given not only so that we can know God and his son Jesus Christ, but God won't is also so that we can live it out. Many emotional difficulties are mediated by dysfunctional thoughts. Scripture can be used in thought-stopping, thought-shipping, and cognitive disputation.

It gives us hope:

It is a deep-seated belief that God will come through for us. It reminds us of all the ways God has already come through for us. And it gives us the truth we need to trust He will continue to come through for us again. As the lord says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”.

It grants us freedom:

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. For one who has died has been set free from sin. As it is written, "God's word brings freedom to those who do what it says”.

Beloved, please keep on visiting and share with others for more updates. Thanks for your special day with us.
