The Bible has said many when Jesus was preaching but I would like to share ideas about why loving others is crucial for spiritual growth. Love has to deal with many things as the scriptures have already said. Although we have been commanded to obey the rules of God

but it seems love plays most of the way in seeing Christ.

For us to live well with people and the creature as well the Bible said we have to love God with our hearts, with our souls, with our strength, and with our minds and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Beloved, will it profit us if we love those who show love to us only?
The scripture made it clear that we should love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who abuse us.

To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from him who takes away your coat do not withhold even your shirt. Give to everyone who begs from you, and of him who takes away your goods do not ask them again. And as you wish that men would do to you, do so to them.

If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?
For even sinners love those who loved them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you?
For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you?

Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the highest, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the selfish.
