In Christianity, Jesus is the son of God as written in the Bible's New Testament. He is regarded by most Christians as the incarnation of God. The prophet and the apostles prophesy about him in the Old Testament. It is not easy when someone wants to be like Jesus but it is our right to imitate him. For us to live like our savior, we have to;

Study his life:

Living to operate like someone without studying the person seems to be meaningless. The disciples were able to operate like Jesus because they studied his life. Studying Jesus will help us to change our lives, face our trials, and move forward.

Love God:

The scripture reminds us to " seek first the kingdom of God and everything will be added to us”. Loving God is a step way for being like Jesus. Loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength is not only a commandment but also an invitation to experience his favor in our lives. Loving God brings comfort in affliction, guards against the trap of self-seeking, keeps us from sinning and also leads to joy.

Love others:

The scripture says, "No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. God calls us to love him by loving one another. Expressing love and affection motivates people to continue doing great for others.
Loving others also allow you to open yourself up to another person, and discover your inner capacity for pure and unconditional love.

Be prayerful:

The more we talk and spend time with someone the more we get to know them. Prayer is important because it helps us to stay close to God. When we pray, we are opening up our hearts to him and he can work in us and through us. prayer helps us to grow in our relationship with God.

Practice obedience:

Obedience is a part of the foundation of society.
Obedience is our way of showing God that we love him and it is through our obedience that God recognizes us and enables us to enjoy his love. By obeying all things, even the mundane, you are showing God that you are willing and able to obey whatever he asks you. Observing this point can help us to live like Jesus.
