What happened when Jonah pray To God?

Brethren,
Prayer is the act of communicating with God.

The Scriptures say we should pray without ceason.

In this article, we are going to learn what happened when

Jonah raised his voice unto the Lord and how can we apply it to our normal life?

According to the book of Jonah,

we got to know that Jonah pray when he was in the belly of the shark.

What prayer did Jonah pray?

According to the book of Jonah 2:1-9

The scripture says :
Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the belly of the fish, saying,

" I called to the Lord, out of my distress,

And he answered me out of the belly of Sheol I cried,

and thou didst hear my voice.

For thou didst cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas,

and the flood was round about me;

all thy waves and thy billows passed over me.

Then I said, I am cast out from the presence ;

How shall I again look upon thy holy temple?

The waters closed in over me the deep was round about me ;

Weeds were wrapped around my head at the root of the mountains,

I went down to the land whose bars closed upon me forever;

Yet thou didst bring up my life from the pit,

Oh lord my God.

When my soul fainted within me

I remembered the lord;

And my prayer came to thee,

Into the holy temple.

Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their true loyalty.

But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to thee;

What I have vowed I will pay.

Deliverance belongs to the lord.
This was the prayer, Jonah prayed.

What happens after Jonah prayed?

Suddenly, the lord spoke to the fish and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.

Brethren this Scripture made us understand that the Almighty God

our gracious God and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.

As it was written in the book of John 3:16
Saying

For God so love the word that he gave his only begotten son and

whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Brethren, no matter the sin we have made,

This Scripture made it clear that the Almighty God

is ready to save us as he saves Jonah in the belly of the fish.

Brethren please never let the condition you are in ceasing you from praying.
