To trust is to believe in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of something. Trusting God means believing in His reliability, His word, His ability, and His strength. The Bible teaches us to depend on God, trusting the Father for our provision as we seek his kingdom. And as Christians, knowing these kinds of blessings will boost our trust in Him.

We depend on God for our salvation:

Salvation is the great work of God in which He forgives sin and gives eternal life to a believing sinner as a gift of his grace. Salvation helps to save human beings from sin and its consequences, which include death and separation from God. Salvation is essential to have a relationship with God while on earth, and to have eternal life with God in heaven after death.

It gives eternal life:

Trusting in the lord is the only life path, and nowhere is this seen more fully than in the life and work of Christ. Having eternal life means when life ends here, it continues somewhere else. It is a quality of life that begins on Earth and continues in heaven. Having eternal life saves us from hell, a gateway to heaven, and also brings everlasting joy.

Trust in the lord gives us the desire of our hearts:
