Joy of Giving is an event that celebrates humanity. According to research, the secret of life-long happiness is to give. Giving is a vital way by which we connect to God's provision of prosperity for us. And also the only arena in which God invites us to test it, not so we will get more, but so we can see that he has everything and wants to be generous to us. Giving has a lot of benefits and we shall discuss some of them in this article;
Giving makes us feel happy:
When we are generous our brains release several chemicals that give us
a sense of joy and peace. Helping and being king not only contributes to the happiness of others, but it can also help us to feel happier ourselves. Helping others may just be the secret to living a life that is not only happier but also healthier, wealthier, more productive, and more meaningful." " Being elated and happy lowers the levels of the stress hormone cortisol while increasing the production of endorphins and serotonin, which is also known as the happiness hormone”.
Giving is good for health:
Generosity lowers the risk of dementia, reduces anxiety and depression, and improves chronic pain management. Health is a positive concept emphasizing social and personal resources, as well as physical abilities. Being in a healthy lifestyle prevents disease, saves money, and is also good for the environment.
Giving help social connection:
"When we give to others, we not only make them feel closer to us, we also feel closer to them”. Generosity is a great way to promote social connectedness. The simple act of giving causes our brain to view the recipient as more likable, and more worthy to receive. When people are socially connected and have stable and supportive relationships, they are more likely to make healthy choices and have better mental and physical health outcomes.
Giving is contagious:
The more we give and spread our passion for giving to others, the more others will give. Helping is driven by receiving or observing help. In other words, generosity towards strangers may be socially contagious.
Please let's keep on giving to others and I hope our work will never be in vain.
Let's keep on sharing and invite others for more updates.
Thanks for your special day with us.
