Scripture speaks of "the word of God”, meaning " the things God has said”. As it was written in the Book of John, " In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God”. The Scripture is essential in our lives, as it is written, " All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work”. As believers and followers of Christ, the more we interact with the Word, the more we extend our knowledge.

Read the word regularly:

Reading and studying the scripture regularly is important because of the direction we need in our lives. Studying the Scripture is important because Scripture study is a preparation for receiving personal revelation. Reading the scripture regularly will help us to find comfort and hope, enjoyment and blessings, and to get directions in life. Regular reading quickens the mind and also equips us for good work.

Read the word with others:

Sometimes we benefit from others' experience of digging deep into God's word because many servants would like to share their life experiences to increase the faith of others. We can offer insight that they have not yet learned. And also helps us find gems of wisdom that we have not yet discovered.

Pray It:

When we pray scripture, we demonstrate explicitly that Jesus' words remain in us. And as we are yielding many fruits through our praying scripture, that is a way that we glorify God the Father.
Praying the scripture will increase our spiritual growth and also a great way to memorize scripture and hide the word of God in our hearts.

Sing It:

Singing the scripture helps us delight in his word. Singing the scripture can help us place our emotions and affections in God's word so that all of our hearts overflow with thanksgiving and rejoicing no matter who we are, or what we are going through. As the scripture says, "addressing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the lord with all our heart, always and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father”. Praising and singing the scripture reveals solutions we can't see and also breaks chains and opens doors.

Memorize the scripture:

There are many reasons why you should memorize scripture. Memorizing scripture brings peace of mind, grows our relationship with Christ, and helps us encourage fellow followers. Memorizing the scripture develops our relationship with God and also strengthens our sense of right and wrong.
