Forgiveness has helped many lives to be settled. Forgiving someone is one of the ways to build peace within a community. Many people took revenge whenever their brothers and sisters wrong them but the scripture said all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Many people of us called ourselves Christians but we don't follow what the lord says. If we are a follower and an image of Christ why can't we forgive ourselves, whenever there is a problem within ourselves?

Have we thought of what happened when the Pharisees brought the woman who committed adultery? Did Jesus judge him or saved him?

The scripture says early in the morning he came again to the temple, all the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them. The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery and placed her in the midst.

They said to him, teacher this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such. What do you say about her?

Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continue to ask him, he stood up and said to them, let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.

And once more he bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. But when they heard it, they went away, one by one, beginning with the eldest, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. Jesus looked up and said to her, woman where are they?

Has no one condemned you?
She said, no one lord. Beloved in Christ it is not too late to start a new living with christ.
If our leader himself has forgiven the sin of the woman who committed adultery, why can't we forgive ourselves?

It seems many people of us don't know the power of forgiving someone. This article will help us to know some of the importance when we forgive ourselves.

There is a saying that we should do to others what we expect others to do to us. When Jesus was teaching his disciples how to pray, he said we should ask for forgiveness as we also forgive our debtors.
