A majority of the references to "fruit” in the Bible are meant figuratively, referring to the results of something. The fruits were used as gifts given to Christians by the holy spirit. There are many benefits it has on our life. And in this article, the benefits are going to be shared for us to be equipped to stand for the lord. These are the fruits produced by the holy spirit;
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Love:

Love is one of the gifts produced by the holy spirit. Love is the foundation for everything in the Christian life.
In all three synoptic gospels, Jesus affirms that the greatest commandments are to love God with the whole self and to love one's neighbor as the self. When we love God and keep his commandments, we open up the door for manifestation in every area of our life. And the scriptures said," By this, all men will know that we are His disciples if we have a love for one another”.

Joy:

Joy is also one of the gifts produced by the holy spirit. Joy is necessary in the life of a Christian as it is a sign of our salvation and our fruits. It builds perseverance through trials and it is important for the full life Jesus wants us to have. The scripture said," This is the confidence which we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him”. Joy makes a child of God to be strong. When we are joyful, we are powerful.

Peace:

Peace is one of the gifts produced by the holy spirit. Peace is much related to gaining strength, being close to the lord, and being sanctified. A peaceful heart is needed for God to do his work in us. Peace with God will lead to peace with other human beings. Peace leads to better concentration ability. It leads to a sense of inner strength and power. It leads to falling asleep easily at night and sleeping soundly. Inner peace calms our minds and allows us to see our path much clearer, helping us focus and keep track of our goals.

Patience:

Patience is one of the fruits produced by the spirit. Patience is crucial in the Christian faith because it demonstrates our trust in God's sovereignty and His timing. When the Bible speaks of patience, particularly as one of the fruits of the spirit, and as one of the characteristics of love, it speaks of it as a virtue that goes far beyond the mere ability to await some future gain. It helps us to understand that God's plan for our lives is perfect, and we should trust in his timing, even when we do not understand it. Having patience can help us with our long-term goals and dreams. Patience can make more rational, realistic decisions.

Kindness:

Kindness is one of the gifts produced by the holy spirit. Acts of kindness can make the world a happier place for everyone. They can boost feelings of confidence, being in control, happiness, and optimism. Practicing kindness to others and others and ourselves has been linked to better stress management, improved heart health, and even living longer. Kindness makes us happier. Kindness slows aging.

Goodness:

Goodness is one of the gifts produced by the holy spirit. When we act out of the true goodness of the heart and reflect the fruit of the spirit, we are obedient to God's commandment and seek the benefits of others. Goodness provides the right disposition motivation, knowledge, and the correct instruction. Doing good decreases stress. Doing good increases life expectancy. Doing good makes us feel better and also leads to happiness.

Faithfulness:

Faithfulness is one of the gifts produced by the holy spirit. Being faithful preserves, protects, and guards his faithful. God blesses his faithful. God strengthens his faithful. When we are faithful, we bring glory to God. And if we can make that our main motivation in life, we will be happy with the results that come our way.

Gentleness:

Gentleness is one of the gifts produced by the holy spirit. Gentleness helps us experience Jesus. When we are gentle with ourselves and with others, we represent and experience Him. As it was written," Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart”. Being gentle will help us to react differently to negative events.

Self-control:

Self-control is one of the gifts produced by the holy spirit. Self-control is the war between impulsivity and doing what's right or beneficial. It's the ability to control emotions, impulses, or behaviors to achieve a greater goal. We display our God and His gospel when we are self-controlled. We pursue a greater, eternal good when we are self-controlled. These are fruits and against such, there is no law.
