Remaining in Christ is better than living life anyhow. People are suffering and struggling with how they live their life at a youthful age. This has led to many effects on the nations, which has quenched the faith of so many believers.
I believe many people have heard of this title before but let's ask ourselves, who is Christ?
Many believers have different ways of describing Christ to their members for them to understand.
The scripture described Jesus Christ as the only son of God who came to this earth to die and save us.
John the Baptist described him as the Saviour of the world because John said I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry.
He will Baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the granary, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.
The book of John described him as the good shepherd. The good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. He who is a hireling and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the Wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. He flees because he is a hireling and cares nothing for the sheep.
Beloved, where is our stand?
Are we remaining in Christ or we are pretending to be in Christ?
Let's not pretend like the scribes and the Pharisees because they bind heavy
burdens hard to bear, and lays them on men's shoulders, but they will not move them with their fingers. They do all their deeds to be seen by men, for they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long, and they love the place of honor at the feast and the best seats in the synagogues, and solution in the marketplaces and being called rabbi by men. Brethren let us not imitate their way because they have received their reward already.
The peoples from Israel were able to win their battle because they remain in Christ in whatever they do. God said to Joshua, no man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for you shall cause this person to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the laws which Moses my servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or the left, that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it, for then you shall succeed. Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and of good courage, be not frightened, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever.
Beloved, if the lord has done this to Israel, will he not do the same to us who believe in him and obey his commandment?
Beloved, it is not too late for us to repent from our sins as we are living on this earth.
Let us be careful because when the sons of man come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before he will be gathered all the nations, he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and he will place the sheep in his right hand, but the goats in the left.
The King will say to those at his right hand, come, blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcome me. I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.
The righteous will answer him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or thirsty and give you drink?
And when did we see you as a stranger and welcome you or naked and clothe you?
And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?
Jesus answered them, truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my Brethren, you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.
He will say to those at his left hand, depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me,
naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.
They also will answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to you?
Jesus answered them, truly I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me. They will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
Beloved, as the coming of Christ, is at hand, are we going to stand at his left hand or the right hand?
Do you want us to weep in the eternal punishment, if not why shouldn't we follow him?
Beloved let all strive to the end because the scriptures say they will deliver you up to tribulation, put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
Many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false Prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because wickedness is multiplied, most men's love will grow cold. But he who endures to the end will be saved.
Beloved let's try as much as possible we can to inherit the kingdom.
May the good lord help us to remain in him forever.
