When Joshua was appointed to lead the Israelites to Canaan, he did his responsibility sincerely and became the leader of the Israelites. Joshua was able to defeat all the wars he encountered. The story of Joshua tells us a lot and I would take this opportunity to share the moral lesson in this article.
Joshua easily could have become afraid as he thought about his opposition Joshua left nothing undone that God had told him to do and as a result, Israel was victorious and had rest from war. Several life lessons led to his success, which, if applied, will help us succeed in every area of life.
Joshua obeys God's word:
Joshua was promised to win many souls but he didn't rely on the promise. He worked hard toward the word of God because, without hard work and determination, nothing can be achieved in life. Joshua was able to defeat the opposition because of how he ruined the word of God. This tells us that, life can be full of challenges, sorrows, and tough decisions but when we obey the word and commands from God we will be rewarded with eternal joy. Obeying God's word has a lot of benefits in our lives.
Joshua was faithful in whatever he was doing:
Faithfulness is one of the lessons that led Joshua to his success. Joshua was faithful in the small chance he received. Being faithful has a lot of benefits in our lives. Faithfulness gives us a clear conscience. It gives us a sense of trust, confidence, and certainty.
God took many years to prepare Joshua for his leadership:
Joshua served under Moses for many years before leading the Israelites. Moses did not consider the long-term of the journey to quit. As believers, life may be full of challenges, sorrows, and tough but the lord will show us the way. No matter the circumstances, we will be rewarded in the end. Never say no to God's time because of the situation and the pains you are going through because his time is the best.
Joshua did not fight his battle alone:
Joshua was encouraged by the word of God and the scriptures made it clear to us that" the lord will fight for you, and you have only to be still”. Beloved, let us exercise patience and wait upon the lord. Please share this article and invite others for more updates. Thanks for your special day.
