Believers are those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their savior and live according to his ways as Paul said, imitates me as I also imitate Christ. Many people have become born again and have accepted Christ but did they know the commands of Christ?
The scriptures say those who love God and believe in him are those who followed his commands. Many people claim to be believers meanwhile they are hypocrites.

The Scriptures says in Matthew 7:21-23 that "not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my father who is in heaven. On that day, many will say to me, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? And then will I declare to them, I never knew you, depart from me, you evildoers".

Believers should live like their maker because they are light to others as the scripture says in Matthew 5:13-16 "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its sadness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill can not be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Beloved, without going far on this in a different topic, we shall quickly look at how Jesus Christ taught his disciples(believers) to live righteous life. Jesus said to his disciples" Behold, I send you out as sheep amid wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. Beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils, and flog you in their synagogues, and you will be dragged before the governors and kings for my sake, to bear testimony before them and the Gentiles.

When they deliver you up, do not be anxious about how to speak, or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the spirit of your father speaking through you. Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all for my name's sake.

But he who endures to the end will be saved. When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the son of man comes. A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master, it is enough for the disciples to be like his teacher and the servant like his master.

If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household? So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, utter in the light, and what you hear you hear whispered, proclaim upon the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul, rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without your father's will. But even the hairs on your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore, you are of more value than many sparrows. So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my father who is in heaven”.
