Ananias was a disciple of Jesus who lived in Damascus during the time of the persecution of Saul. Sapphire was the wife of Ananias. They were punished by Peter for hiding a position in the money they had made from the sale of their house, rather than completely sharing their wealth with the community. Ananias and His wife Sapphire were judged by God for lying to the Holy Spirit. They wanted to keep some to themselves.

So Ananias made a plan. They would tell everyone that they were giving all the money to the Apostles but they would secretly keep some back for themselves. They planned this forgetting the lord is everywhere. Many effects will result when we lie to God but we shall discuss some of the ways to avoid all the curses in our life.

Stop justifying dishonesty:

Dishonest folks should not be trusted. If we know that being honest means telling the truth and being straightforward, then we can probably guess that being dishonest means telling lies and being crooked. This can be especially destructive if we are lying to other people, not only do we make ourselves look bad, but we also create an atmosphere of distrust and suspicion.

Understand why we lie:

For many lies, the reasons are complicated. Sometimes it is to protect the liar from being punished or to protect someone else from punishment. The lie might be to avoid being embarrassed, or to hide an awkward situation while some people who lie want to protect the feelings of others and spare someone else pain, or hurt, many people lie to protect their feelings, self-esteem, self-confidence, or other personal emotions.

Consider the consequences:

Lying has consequences. When someone finds out we have lied, it affects how that person deals with us forever. Lying is bad because a generally truthful world is a good thing, lying diminishes trust between human beings, and also if people generally didn't tell the truth, life would become very difficult, as nobody could be trusted and nothing we heard or read could be trusted.

Practice being authentic:

Authentic people instill a sense of trust. We trust that what they say and do is based on how they think and feel. Being authentic is important because it contributes to our holistic well-being, encouraging happiness, fulfillment, and high self-esteem. When our actions align with our true nature, we are more likely to pursue our passions, believe in ourselves, and feel confident in our opinions. May the good lord bless us. Let's keep on sharing and invite others for more updates.

Thanks for sharing your special day with us.
