Making a difference in our community seems to be difficult nowadays. Making a difference refers to the impact that our actions have on the world around us. Making a difference in a community always enrich our life, familiarize us with our community, and connect us to people and ideas that will positively impact our perspective for the rest of our life.

Making a difference is important and we are going to share how we can grab these benefits in our lives. For us to make a difference in our lives, we have to;

Know who we are(self):

Knowing ourselves is one of the points to consider when making a difference in a community. Knowing oneself helps us to be able to manage and regulate our emotions, better decision-making, better job satisfaction, and a higher level of happiness. The honor of giving space to who we are gives us access to so far-hidden wisdom. Knowing ourselves strengthens the bonds that we have with others, and also helps develop creator relationships with others.

Live a righteous life or abide by the rules in the community:

Abiding by the rules in a community will help us to distinguish ourselves in a community. The reason why rules are important is that they maintain good behavior in the community. A majority of these laws are made to protect ourselves. So, if we refuse to obey the rules and regulations and disrespect our leaders, we will not be able to make sure that they keep their promises to us. And also life runs more smoothly for everyone when we follow the rules.

Accepting the views or opinions of others?

To be able to make a difference, we have to accept people's views or opinions in decision-making. Mixing with those who are different from us means we get a sense of connection with them. We learn more about the world and ourselves in the process, which helps us grow intellectually and spiritually. Accepting other's views means having a right to their feelings thoughts and opinions. When you accept people for who they are, you let go of your desire to change them. Accepting others and their differences encourages us to have compassion for others instead of judging them.

Build a relationship with a religious group:

Religion organizations are groups of people who practice a particular religion and who come together for a variety of purposes. Many studies documented the benefits of religious involvement. Highly religious people tend to be healthier, live longer, and have higher levels of subjective well-being.
