When we understand that the saviour makes possible repentance and resurrection, teaches vital truths, offers hope and peace, and sets the perfect example, he becomes the center of our lives.

And with him as our friends we have the courage to cast out fear and move forward with faith. Being close to God has a lot of benefits in our lives , and I would like to share some in this article;

When we are near God, we experience rest of soul:

To find rest unto our souls includes peace of mind and heart, which is the result of learning and following the doctrine of christ and becoming christs extended hands in serving and helping others.

We receive guidance:

When we decide to be near to him, we will, infact, receive guidaince for our life. Spiritual guidance helps us to gain insight into how Gods word applies to our life and how to live according to His principles.

We receive strength:

We are not called to rely on our own strenght. No matter how big and obstacle infront of us may seem,if we rely on Gods power, we can overcome it. Gods strength acts as a shield from feelings of anxiety we may experience.
