Doing the will of the gods has helped many people to enjoy a better life. But have we asked ourselves whether their joy is permanent or temporal?
Many people are following the narrow way forgetting the results lead to destruction.
We use to compare ourselves with our physical appearance and our possession but some people have tried to compare life to the extent that, they want to compare their life with the maker.
Brethren in Christ can we compare our lives with Christ?
If not, why do we compare our so-called idols to our makers?
Beloved, many people will use the name of the lord as care, but let us be careful in our way because the devil came to kill and destroy.
Brethren as the coming of Christ is at hand, please let beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns or figs from thistles?
So, every sound tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
As we are followers of Christ, what should we do about this topic?

Brethren let's quickly look at how the scriptures describe the creator and compare it to our so-called idols.
The scripture says, who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand and marked off the heavens with a span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measured and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?
Who has directed the spirit of the lord, or as his counselor has instructed him?
Whom did he consult for his enlightenment, and who taught him the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?
Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket and are accounted as the dust on the scales, behold, he takes up the isles like fine dust.
Lebanon would not suffice for fuel, nor are its beasts enough for a burnt offering.
All the nations are like nothing before him, they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness.
To whom then will you liken God, or what likeness compare with him?
The idol! The workman cast it, and a Goldsmith overlays it with gold and casts it into silver chains.
He who is impoverished chooses an offering of wood that will not rot.
He seeks out a skillful craftsman to set up an image that will not move.
Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told from the beginning?
Have you not understood the foundations of the earth?
It's he who sits above the circle of the earth?
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, who stretch out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in.
Who brings prince t naught, and makes the rulers of the earth as nothing.
Scarcely are they planted, scarcely sown, scarcely has their stem taken root in the earth.
When he blows upon them, they wither, and the tempest carries them off like stubble.
To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him?
Says the holy one.
Lift your eyes high and see, who created these?
He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power, not one is missing.
Beloved, can we compare the idols to Christ Jesus?
May the good lord help us to know his word.
