Equality means giving everyone exactly the same resources or opportunities. Equity involves giving each person the resources and opportunities they need to achieve an equal outcome for everyone. Equality is not about treating everyone in the same way, but it recognises that individuals needs are sometimes best met in different ways. Living equally with everyone shares a lot of benefits and we shall discuss them in this article;

It brings togetherness:

Togetherness allows us to share ideas, collaborate on projects, and brainstorm solution to difficult problems. Our strength are amplified when we combine them with the strength of others.

It helps to achieve our goals:

Equality means each individual or group of people is given the same resources or opportunities. Equity recignizes that each person has different circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome.

It brings fairness:

Fairness is when everyone is treated equally and no one is left out. They are honest and trustworthy. In a community where people are being treated fair everyone works together, solves problems easily, has fun, cares for one another, feels safe and gets along.
