Keeping a promise lays the foundation for trust and respect. When our behavior is consistent, it allows others to build Faith in us. In doing that, we will begin to see ourself as someone who is reliable and capable of following through on commitments, which can boost our self-esteem and self-worth.

Honoring our promises (no matter how small) can earn us an enviable reputation for dependability, reliability and trustworthiness. Trust protect and preserved our assets. As it is written, " trust in the lord with all our heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledged him, and he will make straight your path".

Lays the foundation for respect:

Forever making and breaking promises can lead to disrespect. Dissapointment spills over to anger as we not honoring our word. The words might be forgotten of the broken promise but they will never forget how it made them feel.
