God's word is powerful. His word is alive and active and has the precision of a sword to cut right into our hearts with truth and hope. As it is written, " His word restores and heals even the most painful burns left by someone else words. His word blazes a trail of truth, to lead, guide, encourage, and admonish. God's power is centered on His will and his glory.

Scripture is inspired and God-breathed:

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instructions in righteousness. Also, God's word leads to joy, keeps us from sinning, guards against the trap of self-seeking, and grants us freedom.

It's useful for teaching:

We read, He speaks, we are transformed. When we study the Bible together. God promises to reveal Himself, to teach us how to obey Him, and to show us how to love one another. When we are changed to become more like Jesus, our family, and workplaces will be eternally impacted.

Training and guiding us in truth:

The power of God's word lies in the truth it proclaims. Because scripture is inspired and God-breathed, it's useful for teaching, training, and guiding us in truth. It becomes the tool to reprove, convict, or rebuke so we might know and follow God's will.
