God wants his people to reflect his character. He is a just God and so His people are to bring about justice in their communities. We are to seek out and support the broken, liberate the oppressed, and deliver the downtrodden. God by his abundant grace rewards those who faithfully work for Him with the power to get wealth to provide for their needs, long life, healing of the body and soul, and comfort in affliction. There are so many benefits of doing the will of God and I would like us to know what is expected of us in this article;

To be His disciples:

We are people who should do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly before God. By focusing on the basics, we see the principle that will enable us to live faithful and fruitful lives of God. Discipleship is working out the truthful word of God in the context of a gracious relationship.

Believe in Jesus Christ:

Jesus is important to us because, through his atonement, teachings, hope, peace, and example, He helps us change our lives, face our trials, and move forward with faith as we journey back to Him and His Father. To be made whole, and to be made holy, we need a savior. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar because he has not believed the testimony God has given about His son.

Put living for Jesus first in our life:

Jesus calls every person to take up their cross and follow Him. To take up our cross means to die to ourselves and to follow Jesus above everything else. If we try to find our lives first, we will ultimately lose. But if we put Jesus first and seek Him, we will find ourselves.

To Do His Work:

Not only did God command us to work, but, being created in His image as a creator, we are hardwired with a desire to create to work. This does not mean that we can create something out of nothing like God. Instead, we can create things out of something already created. We are people who should do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly before God. By focusing on the basics, we see the principles that will enable us to live faithful and fruitful lives of God.
