What Are The Three Types of Hope?

Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to events and circumstances in one's life or the world at large. Hope allows us to approach problems with a proactive positive mindset, and increase our chances of success. It is easiest to have Hope when things are going well in our life.

Hope is beneficial to our well-being. Hope encourages us to persist, even though we may be facing setbacks. Hopeful individuals are more likely to frame difficulties as challenges, rather than threats. Hope has been explained in so many ways but, I would like to discuss the three types of hopes in daily lives. Many will be explained later but let stick to this points below;

Material hope:

Hope is all about imagining and reaching for a better future for ourselves.  Hope is both an emotion and a way of thinking. There is nothing wrong in desiring for our needs, we need food to live, a shelter to protect ourself, clothes to cover ourself, certain other things to do our work and take care of people dependent on us. The key is not be attached to the materialistic things. As it is written," command those who are rich in this present would not be arrogant nor to put their Hope in wealth, which is so uncertain but to put their Hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment".

Socratic Hope:

Socratic hope is one of the types of Hope. Employing the perspective of socratic hope allows the teachers and the student to ask critical questions and examine the root causes of the society's problems and how they impact the many challenges students face, especially the students of color. And also socratic hope provides the opportunity to put into practice what is being taught in carefully adopted academic standards.

Audacious Hope:

Biblical hope is Audacious, it points to christ who gives us strenght to stand and wait, so we do not lose heart. The word Audacious means to be bold and fearless. Isaiah is bold about his longing for something more. He dared to believe that something better was coming even though his culture was corrupt and everything around him seemed so dark.

Hope serve us the way to success, even though the road will be rough and tough. Brothers let's stick to these points and wish for more to be published.  May the blessings of christ Jesus shower on us all.
