To be forgiven by God means that our sins have been removed, and restoration has taken place.

Forgiveness brings freedom:

Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that allows us to focus on ourselves and help us go on with life. As the scripture says, "Peace I live with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid”.
