Christians are taught the commandments of Christ so that they might obey them. They learn they have a duty of prayer, so they pray, they learn they have a duty of forgiveness, so they forgive, they learn they have a duty of diligence, so they work hard and provide generously.
Our work is a response to God saving us and bringing us into his kingdom. As Christians, we do our work lovingly and to the glory of God, because he has saved us. But for us to know some of the things we have to involve ourselves in;
Prayer:
Prayer is the most important thing we can learn how to do. Prayer is where we learn to talk to God, understand him, connect with him, and understand ourselves. Also, prayer is an important way to experience Good as the religious believer can communicate with him. By bringing their problems to God, or asking for forgiveness and help, they come closer to Him.
Worship:
Worship is also a mindset and lifestyle. In Christianity, worship is the act of attributing reverent honor and homage to God. Worship is when we give our deepest affection and highest praise to something. True worship of God is when we love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Worshipping God means acknowledging and celebrating his power and perfection in gratitude.
Service:
Service is helping others who need assistance. Christ-like service grows out of genuine love for the Saviour and of love and concern for those whom he gives us opportunities and direction to help. People who are committed to God will not be ashamed under whatever circumstances. They will be rewarded for their commitment. God will reciprocate the goodness of their resources used for him.
Study:
It is important to study and learn because God has taken great pains to reveal himself to his people. He gave us a book, one that is not meant to sit on a shelf pressing dried flowers, but to be read, searched, digested, studied, and chiefly to be understood. These points should be considered when we want to live like Christ. May the good lord bless us. Let's keep on sharing and invite others for more updates.
Thanks for your special day with us.
