Humans were created with the intent of abundant living. Fruitfulness and growth, multiplication and expansion, as well as structure and organization, are all part of God's plan. The purpose of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever. As the scripture says, "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever we do, do all to the glory of God”. Be fruitful:

Fruitful activity multiplies or adds to what's already there, producing more of something. God desires to transform us into the image of His son and make us as fruitful as He was. Since we are created in God's image, we are to be fruitful.

Multiply:

God charged us to multiply. Bearing children gives other spirit children of God the opportunity to also enjoy life on earth. All who are born in mortality have the opportunity to progress and to be exalted if they obey God's commandments.

Fill the earth:

After the lord commanded Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, He commanded them to replenish the earth and subdue it. As the scripture says, " Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth”.

Rule:
