God's promises are objects of our faith and hope, for faith believes those things that God has promised are true, and hope expects the performance of what faith believes. We believe what God has promised because he has committed and bound himself to act for us. Many blessings were shared by the lord in his promises and I would like us to discuss some of them in this article;

Freedom from addiction:

It is written in the scripture, "So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet”.

Deliverance from sin and evil:

When a sinner personally believes the gospel, he becomes justified as a completely righteous person before God. God gives a believer Christ righteousness and takes away sins penalty and condemnation. The Lord wants us to cast our burden upon Him. If we trust in Him, He can make burdens seem lighter.

Financial provision:

The scripture said, " And this sa¹me God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus”. And the book of Proverbs also says, "The blessing of the lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it”.

Hope for the lost and hurting family:

It is written in the scripture," The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit ”. God can restore families and use the tragedies that so deeply hurt us now to move us forward in the purpose for which he created us. He can bind the wounds of the brokenhearted and set free those imprisoned in darkness.
