Resilience is the ability to withstand adversity and bounce back from difficult life events. Being resilient does not mean a person doesn't experience stress, emotional upheaval, and suffering. It involves the ability to work through emotional pain and suffering. Resilience have a lot of benefits in our life and we would use this opportunity to express our view on them;
Improved emotions regulations:
Resilience is associated with higher quality of life, better regulations of emotions, more positive emotions, and less perceived stress, anxiety and depressions.
Help to face new challenges with confidence:
Resilience is the ability to voice back from the challenges and pressures that life throws at us and maintain a positive outlook. People who are resilient generally have confidence in themselves and their ability to overcome setbacks.
Reduced susceptibility to mental health conditions:
Depressed people often are dissatisfied with themselves and are very critical of what they see as flaws. Resilience people recognize their self worth and grow to appreciate how unique they are. This realization sets them apart and allows them to be truly themselves and comfortable in the world.
Better handling of Stress:
Recognizing individual signals of a body stress responses and learning to respond to those signals in new ways can help build the emotional, intellectual and physical strength that comprise resilience, which can help us tackle future stressors.
