Making disciples is what happens when we walk through life together, showing one another how to pray, study the Bible, grow in Christ, and lead others to Christ. As the disciples did, " they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common, and they sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to all, as any had need. And the lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved”.

As followers of Christ, we have to notice these points in making progress in our soul-winning. As Christians,

We have to teach them to love scripture:

Knowing the scripture is one of the ways of making progress in our goal. As the scriptures say, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”.
For everyone to exhibit Christ-like characteristics, believers must open the minds of others to have experience in the challenge they are facing, because " we are not contending against flesh and blood but against the principalities”. Loving scripture grows our faith, equips us to share our faith and invest in others, and also brings strength and guidance for life.

Teach them why spiritual discipline is important:

Spiritual discipline is one of the points to consider when making disciples. A spiritual discipline is a regularly repeated practice that can both personally and communally enrich our attentiveness to the Holy Spirit, cultivate the life and character of Jesus Christ in us, and strengthen our love for God and others. Spiritual discipline protects us from our self-interest, positions us for God's transformation, stretches our faith, and is a matter of gospel mission. And for us to be spiritually disciplined we have to make prayer and fasting a lifestyle, create boundaries that center our purpose, and also be consistent to bear and see fruit.

Teach them to walk in the spirit:

Teaching someone to walk in the lord is one of the ways to enlighten the light in us. Jesus said he is the light of the world. As it is written, " I am the light of the world, he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life”. And when we walk in the light, the grace that heals our relationships with God also brings healing to our other relationships. Walking in the light glorifies God, ensures we are making wise use of the time, and also exposes evil works.

Teach them to do what the lord requires:

Teaching them what the lord requires counts as one of the ways of making progress in soul-winning. To love the lord is the most important thing that God asks of us. The sum and the substance of everything that God has said is simply to love Him. As it is written, "If you fully obey the Lord our God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord our God will set us high above all the nations on earth”. May the good lord bless us for using our time on this article. Beloved, please keep on sharing and invite others to read and I believe our effort will never be in vain.

Thanks for your special day with us.
