Each day becomes repetitive and monotonous, making it very easy for anyone suffering from anxiety or depression to become detached. This routine can also sap a person's motivation to change, making it impossible to overcome this apathy. A routine is the usual series of things that we do at a particular time. Having some of the routine can affect our lives and we shall discuss some of them in this article.
We are resistant to change:
Change is what everyone needs as the world is moving. Resistance to change is unwillingness to adapt to new circumstances or ways of doing things. It does have negative effects on change initiatives. It reduced productivity and performance.
We might struggle with fear:
Being doing the same thing over and over causes us to struggle with fear. Avoiding our fears only prevents us from moving forward.
We may lack creativity:
One of the most common barriers to creativity is fear of failure. This barrier might stop us from putting ideas out there, in case someone laughs at them or even ridicules us for coming up with such thoughts. Also, those who struggle with creativity may find it difficult to generate new ideas or solutions.
