The law of God refers to God's commands given to his creatures to regulate their lives and moral behavior. The Ten Commandments are the most well-known legal rules found in the scripture. Knowing all these laws will help us in our lives as the coming of Christ is at hand.

Following the law of God has so many benefits in our lives and I would like us to discuss some of the benefits in this article;

The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart.

It makes us wise:

God's word makes wise the simple. It convicts and convinces, and whom they simply submit to scripture, they are made wise.

It gives joy to our hearts:

God's joy is grounded in the wonder of divine love for us. Just as a parent finds joy in their child because of the deep and abiding love they have for their child, so God loves us. Having joy promotes a healthier lifestyle. When we are joyful, our whole body benefits, especially our heart and our mind.
