Being part of a church family is not just about receiving. There is also value in having the opportunity to help other believers. In the Bible, the Apostle Paul compared the church to a body, with Jesus as the head. He said for a body to work, every member is important and must do it's part. Participating in church and offering our talents shares a lot of blessings in our life and I would like us to share some of them in this article;

It build Good friendships:

What we learn at church gives us guidance on how to follow God, improve our spirituality, and live better lives. Having Christian friends is important because they can help us grow in our walk with God. They can correct and even rebuke us when we should stumble in our spiritual journey. And if we fall because of sin, they can help restore.

It re-establish our faith in God:

A deeper and stronger connection with God can happen once more when we involve ourselves with church activities. The Christian church is not a building, but a body of believers united in Christ.

We will get happiness and contentment with the service:

Religion may benefits psychological well being because it encourages supernatural beliefs that can help people deal with stress. The tradition of the Catholic church teaches that God alone is the final satisfaction, but that earthly happiness is still a worthwhile and more importantly an attainable goal.

To spread the word of God:

One of the best ways to spread the word of God is to get involved in our church. There are many different ways to do this, we could teach Sunday school, help with youth ministry, or lead a small group.
