If we are to live a Christ-like life, we must strive with all our strength to become as He is. This sacred striving involves coming to know the Savior with his divine attributes. We must develop the ability to think, feel, and do as the Saviour would as we face our earthly experiences.
Jesus focused on His ministry, relationships with others, sharing the good news, serving others, taking care of his health by resting when necessary, and spending time in prayer. Living like Jesus share many blessings in our life and we would like to discuss some in this article;
Eternal life:
Eternal life is a gift offered only through Jesus Christ. We put our trust in Christ and Christ alone for our salvation. Everyone who puts their trust in Christ alone, as the Bible promises, has life eternal. There is no other way to get it except by faith alone.
Knowing the meaning and purpose of life:
Meaning refers to how we make sense of life and our roles in it, while purpose refers to the aspirations that motivate our activities. His sacrifice allows us to find meaning in life and grow to our fall potential. When we live a good life, following Jesus Christ's teachings, not only are we prepared to live with God and our families forever, but we are also happy.
Forgiveness of sin:
He sent his son to die and pay the penalty for our sins so that our relationship with God could be restored and we could receive eternal life. Jesus blots out our transgressions, removing our sins from the record. As it is written, " God will forgive us no matter what you have done. He knows what you have done wrong, and Jesus has provided a way for you to be forgiven of our sins”.
Freedom from guilt:
Christ did not begrudgingly go to the cross, he went purposefully for freedom. And in doing so he set us free from the penalty and power of sin. As Christians, we value freedom because Christ values freedom. Let's keep on visiting and invite others for more updates. May the good lord bless us. Thanks for your special day with us.
