How To Draw Closer To God

We are going to discuss something on how can we draw closer to our maker.

Almighty God is the creator of all the universe and it's our duty to communicate with Him.

The disciples who were following Jesus Christ were able to capture anything He Command them to do because they were with Him.

The disciples were able to perform Miracles and wonders because the distance between them and Jesus Christ was closed.

In order for us to get closer to our maker,
Firstly,

We have to submit ourselves to God

Submission is when someone has subjected himself or herself to somebody.

Nowadays, Christians want to perform miracles or see wonders but they have left the word of God and asking for powers and blessings from the so-called pastors at the various church.

Some believers want people to know that they can do anything on their own without praising or asking anything from the maker(Almighty God).

For us to get closer to our maker, we have to subject ourselves to Jesus Christ because there was a saying,

He seeks those who seek Him and He is ready to answer their prayers.

Resist The Devil

Nowadays, Christians have invited the devil into their own life and they operate under the words of the devil.

Jesus Christ told us that, He is the way, the truth, and the life no one goes to the father except through Him.

He continues to say that in Him we can find peace and success.

Jesus Christ was saying this for us to resist the devil. We have to put in mind that Jesus Christ has died for our sins but we have to put the armour to conquer the ways of the devil.

Humility

Humility is the state of being humble. For us to get closer to God we have to be free from pride and arrogance in order to conquer the ways of the devil.
