Just as a temple is carefully maintained and kept clean, we can honor God by taking care of our bodies and treating them with respect. As it is written, " I appeal to you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is our spiritual worship”. Paul also said, "For no man ever hates his flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, as Christ does the church because we are members of his body”. But for us to treat our bodies as God wants, we have to;

Learn His Word:

If we lack the desire to read the Bible, pray, and that God would give us a desire for his word. The Bible is our instruction manual, or our road map, for life. It contains wisdom, encouragement, comfort, and life-changing power. The word of God tells us the dos and don'ts of life and also gives us the rules that we must follow.

Apply the word to our life:

God gave us the Bible so we could know how to be faithful to him. His word gives us general guidelines that are applicable regardless of time, place, or person. Applying the word of God in our lives leads to joy, keeps us from sinning, offers free counseling, guards against the trap of self-seeking, and gives us hope as well.

Obey the word in our life:

Christians believe that obeying God is the highest moral duty. It involves following God's commandments, living according to His principles, and aligning one actions and choices with his will. But for us to do that, we have to clean the slate, choose obedience that pleases God, cultivate a heart of surrender, concentrate on doing right, and connect obedience to God's Glory.

Abide by the words always:

We can abide in the lord every single day by making intentional decisions to be faithful to Him. To abide in the word of God means to focus on it, meditate on it, or study the word. And also the word of God is life-changing and life- life-sustaining and life-giving. Obedience to God's word brings freedom, personal growth, protection from danger, and many other temporal and spiritual blessings.

May the good lord bless us. Let's keep on sharing and invite others for more updates.
