We all live with some degree of misplaced loyalty confusion, and temptation. The way of the cross is difficult but this article will help us to lift our ways in following Christ. We grow as a disciple through our relationships. Being disciples means we are a follower of Christ, and in following Him, we must know him and establish a solid relationship with him. But as Christians, for us to grow;

We must believe in Christ:

Believing in Christ is one of the ways to grow as a disciple. Jesus is important to us because, through His Atonement, teachings, hope, and peace, he helps us change our lives, face our trials, and move forward with faith as we journey back to Him and His Father. Believing in Christ gives has eternal life, knowing the meaning and purpose of life, freedom from the power of sin, and a caring community.

Repent and be baptized:

Repentance typically requires an admission of guilt for committing a wrong or for omitting to do the right thing. And to repent means to rearrange our entire way of thinking, feeling, and being to forsake that which is wrong. For us to repent, we must recognize our sins, feel sorrow for our sins, forsake our sins, and confess our sins. Repentance is a blessing because it allows us to grasp the depth and love of God. And it's an essential part of our life as Christians. After we repent from our bad deeds, we must be baptized as born-again believers. In that, we start a new life, encourage accountability, and also strengthen our faith. Christ not only commands believers to get baptized, but baptism is also a gift he graciously gives for our benefit and blessing.

Obey:

Obeying the commands of our leaders is one of the ways to grow as a disciple. Obey is to act according to what you have been asked or ordered to do by someone in authority. Being obedient will grant us abundant prosperity, everything we set our hands on will be successful and the lord will help us to stand out of any situation.

Worship:

Worship is an extreme form of love. As it is written, "You worship what you do not know, we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him”.
