The natural World is our first way of knowing God. Finding God in Nature can reconnect people with faith and the biblical tradition, especially the growing percentage of younger people who are less attracted by the trappings of the institutional church.
God commissions us to rule over the creation in a way that sustains, protects, and enhances his works so that all creation may fulfill the purposes God intended for it. As it is written, "Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, let the sea roar, and all that fills it, let the field exalt, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy”. But for us to be able to accomplish the joy of nature, we have to;
Find nature wherever we are:
Christianity teaches that we come from the earth and that we will return to the earth. Nature can teach us how to follow the dynamic cycles of our bodies and lives, to create our balance. Being with nature improves our mood, helps us take time out and feel more relaxed, improves our confidence and self-esteem, and also helps us meet and get to know new people.
Connect with nature using all of our senses:
Whether we are relaxing in the garden or on our way to work, they listen out for birdsong, look for bees, and butterflies, or notice the movement of the clouds. People with good-natured connectedness tend to be happier. We use our senses to gather and respond to information about our environment, which aids our survival.
Get out into nature:
Being in nature or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes us feel better emotionally, but it also contributes to our physical well-being, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and production of stress hormones. Nature can also generate many positive emotions, such as calmness, and creativity, and can facilitate concentration. It can help us improve our thinking, reasoning, and other mental abilities, and also improve our mental health.
Protect nature:
The church teaches that the entire universe belongs to God and that humans are stewards in charge of its care. Most Christians believe that God gave us human beings a special responsibility within creation to cultivate it, guard it, and use it wisely. A clean environment is essential for the environment, the more we do not care about our environment the more it will become polluted with contaminants and toxins that hurt our health. May the good lord bless us. Let's keep on sharing and invite others for more updates.
Thanks for sharing your special day with us.
