In the Christian community, Bible study is the study of the Bible by people as a personal religion. The Bible is the holy scripture of the Christian religion, purporting to tell the history of the earth from its earliest creation to the spread of Christianity.

Joining a Bible study is an important part of developing a deeper faith and understanding of God's word. Doing that can be a rewarding experience as it helps us to grow spiritually by engaging in meaningful conversations about the scriptures. Bible studies has a lot of blessings in our life, but we shall discuss some of them in this article.

Bible studies grow faith:

When we study the Bible and think deeply about what we have read, it becomes a very real part of our lives. And because we are filled with God's word, we will have growing faith. And also the first way the Bible brings spiritual growth into our lives is by telling us about God himself. Having faith helps us focus on God and not what's going on. As the scriptures say, " for we walk by faith, not by sight”.

It increases our knowledge of God:

It can be a rewarding experience as it helps us to grow spiritually by engaging in meaningful conversations about the scriptures. The Lord has instructed us to gain knowledge about the gospel and the world. We can do this by studying and words of the prophets, praying, living righteously, taking interest in the things around us, and seeking to understand our experience.

Deepens intimacy with him:

It involves experiencing him, talking to him, and listening to him, as well as being validated by Him. As we deepen our relationship with God, we come to know him more fully and find the fulfillment and purpose, the life as he intends for us, that can only come from a close and personal relationship with our creator. Our God is personal who created us for himself and is longing for an intimate relationship with us.

It gives us wisdom and understanding:

The Bible is a roadmap for life!
It contains everything we need for life and godliness. As the scripture says, " His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his glory and excellence”.
